Last weekend the 74th Golden Globe Awards took place in Beverly Hills, the event that we all have been waiting for. This year Hollywood's biggest stars sparkled with the finest jewellery. Attendees arrived wearing all manner of opulent pieces—exquisite gemstones, one-of-a-kind designs, and larger-than-life glitz. The Red carpet on Sunday was sparkling with designs from some newcomers and of course well-established brands. More than $3 million worth of Harry Winston Jewellery was seen on the stage by a variety of stars.

Presenter Drew Barrymore was wearing more than $2.5 million worth of Harry Winston Diamonds, including delicate 27.5 carats Mrs Winston Diamond drop earrings . Her hands were adorned with seven gorgeous rings: a 2.35-carat platinum Sparkling Cluster Diamond Ring, an Emerald-cut Diamond rock band, Round Brilliant and Emerald-cut Diamond band ring, and a showstopper South Sea Pearl and 37.03carat Diamond Ring.

Presenter Kristen Bell flaunted in more than 115 carats of Harry Winston Diamonds, featuring 42-carats of vintage 1963 three-row diamond hoop earrings, multiple Diamond rings and mesmerising 68.57-carat Secret Combination Diamond bracelet.

Winner of the Best Supporting Actress Award, Viola Davis wore a Secret Combination Diamond hoop earrings and a Carpet Diamond bracelet, weighing more than 90 carats of Harry Winston diamonds.


Nominee for best-supporting actress in a series, Thandie Newton was shining in more than 75 carats of Harry Winston Diamonds. A sophisticated long necklace was draping from her neck with 47.66 carats fancy-shaped diamonds in bezel setting were giving a sensual touch to her looks. A Vintage 1962 diamond earring complemented radiant-cut diamond band ring and round brilliant diamond band rings.

Tiffany and Co designs were highly popular that evening. Presenter Reese Witherspoon wore a statement yellow and colourless diamond Tiffany Archival necklace, along with yellow diamond earrings and a selection of rings.
Emma Stone, the winner of the best actress awards, graced in elegant Tiffany Archival necklace, diamond earrings and several rings.

Although Best Actress nominee Natalie Portman, did not win the prize but got to wear a pair of swaying Tiffany Fringe diamond earrings set in platinum, a white and yellow diamond ring and a statement Tiffany Archival diamond bracelet.

Chopard always excited us with exceptional designs and this year is no different. Nominee Julia Louis-Dreyfus gleamed in a pair of rectangular step-cut diamonds earrings weighing 15 carats in total, complimented a 50.34-carat diamond cuff. Both pieces were set in 18k white gold and were from Chopard’s “High Jewelry Collection.”

Since 2015, Jessica Chastain is the ambassador and a friend of the Swiss jewellery and watch brand Piaget. No wonder that at the first red carpet event of the new year she appeared wearing the delicate Piaget Rose necklace in 18k white gold and set with 265 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Winner Tracee Ellis Ross certainly proved that diamonds are a girl's best friend. Her hands were sparkling with a variety of interesting statement designs from Yeprem, Noudar, L’Dezen by Payal Shah and Hueb.


Best Actress nominee Amy Adams looked absolutely gorgeous in Cartier High Jewellery and classic collections, featuring chain-like design set with brown and white diamond earrings. A massive brown tourmaline with diamonds and obsidians were wrapping Amies' hand, along with three delicate cocktail rings.


Blake Lively wore $7 million worth of extravagant jewellery. Featuring two Superwoman Lorraine Schwartz cuffs set with enormous vivid green emeralds and diamonds, complemented by stud earrings.
This year 74th edition of the annual Golden Globe Awards proved to be all about extravagant designs and showstopping gemstones. Hollywood's Golden Globe Awards set the tone for jewellery trends for the coming year. Which ones would you wear?
