Mysterious Brandberg crystals

The highly valued Brandberg quartz crystals come from an area known as Brandberg Mountain, or Fire Mountain, in the north-west Namibia. They are perhaps the most beautiful and distinct variety of quartz crystals on the planet.
The Brandberg offers a unique selection of plants and animals, quite different to those on the surrounding plains. Characterised by a rugged desert landscape, this area is home to desert-adapted elephant and black rhino. Famous for its 200-million-year-old petrified forest and an abundance of ancient rock engravings, even today the area yields new secrets and surprises.

From a metaphysical point of view, the Brandberg region has a different magnetic vibration to other areas. This difference in magnetic energy allows crystals to form in unusual ways.
The structure of quartz changes from the traditional formations as seen in Brazilian quartz, to more individual formations. This change in magnetic frequency also allows the crystals to from with more inclusions.
Brandbergs quartz crystals often have amazing features, including enhydros, or water bubbles, iron oxides, amethyst and smokeys, often with phantoms - milky areas that look like pyramids, and skeletal or fenster pyramidal 'windows'.

Brandberg crystals have amethyst and/or hematite inclusions, and are said to be wonderful tools in finding harmony and balance, amplifying energy and easing stress. They are also considered powerful healing and meditation stones.
Each crystal is pure high vibrational energy; with the healing properties of quartz (amplification of positive energy), amethyst (calm, peace and activation of third eye chakra), fenster/ window (looking within for answers) and enhydro; which relates to achieving empathy for others, adaptability, change of the self.
